Terms and Conditions for Tutoring Services

Schedule Changes and Cancellations

We recognize that unexpected events and changes can occur. To maintain a smooth operation for both our tutors and the schools we serve, we kindly request adherence to the agreed-upon program schedule. Should there be a need for last-minute changes or cancellations, the following conditions will apply:

  • Notification: Schools must inform PRACTICE of any changes to the schedule at the earliest possible opportunity.
  • Invoicing: In cases where last-minute changes prevent the delivery of tutoring services as originally planned, PRACTICE will still invoice for the services as originally agreed.
  • Alternative Services: To ensure value and continuity for both students and schools, our tutors are prepared to offer alternative services in lieu of the scheduled tutoring sessions. These include but are not limited to:
    • Accompanying students on school field trips.
    • Providing assistance in other classes as needed.
    • Engaging in lesson planning and preparation remotely.
    • Grading papers or performing related academic assessments.
    • Undertaking clerical or administrative tasks, subject to prior agreement with the tutor.

Please note our policy is designed to support our tutors, who rely on us for consistent
work schedules for their livelihood.

Agreement to Terms

By partnering with PRACTICE for tutoring services, the school agrees to adhere to these
terms and conditions. We believe in working together to create an adaptable, supportive
educational environment that benefits students, schools, and tutors alike.
